Location
The PHA looks forward to welcoming you to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on October 22-24, 2026—home to one of the state’s three UNESCO World Heritage Sites and host to Revolutionary War figures from Ethan Allen to Alexander Hamilton. The conference will take place at Northampton Community College, during which time we’ll gather for sessions centered on our theme, “Revolutionary Legacies in the Mid-Atlantic, in recognition of America250.
Conference Sessions
The Thursday Night Opening Plenary will be held at the National Museum of Industrial History, located at 602 E 2nd St, Bethlehem, PA, 18015. Conference attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the museum. The museum offers free parking, and there is also on-street parking.
On Friday during the Luncheon Session, Daniel Richter, PhD, will discuss his revised and expanded edition of Native Americans and Pennsylvania, out this summer with Temple University Press. Please be sure to add a lunch ticket to your registration. The caterers will offer:
- Salad Wedge w/ Bacon & Crumbled Gorgonzola & Creamy Peppercorn Dressing
- Roasted Chicken w/ Penn Pasta & Vodka Sauce
- Seared tenderloin Medallions w/ Demi-Glace
- Mushroom Risotto Sugar Snap Peas w/ Tarragon Butter
- House Made Cheesecake
The Friday Banquet will be held at Blue Grillhouse, located at 4431 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18020. A buffet will be served. Conference attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the restaurant. Free parking is available at the restaurant. The Blue Grillhouse is approximately a five-minute drive from Northampton Community College. Please be sure to register for the banquet to join!
All other conference programming will be held at Northampton Community College, located at 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Parking is free.
Lodging Information
The PHA is providing discounted group rates at two area hotels. Both are within a 5-7 drive to Northampton Community College. Free parking will be available at Northampton. The discounted group rate is available until 9/20/2026. Reservation can be made online and by phone. When booking, make sure to use the group name: PHA Annual Meeting 2026.
