Student Research

The program committee of the Pennsylvania Historical Association invites proposals for student research presentations at the annual meeting being held in Bethlehem in October 2026. We encourage students interested in Pennsylvania or Mid-Atlantic history at all levels including graduate students, undergraduate students, and high school students to share their original scholarly or public history work as well as lesson plans.

Projects dealing with any aspect of Pennsylvania or Mid-Atlantic History may be submitted for consideration. K-12 and undergraduate student submissions can either be a poster presentation or a multi-media project, including a website. Proposals must be submitted electronically by May 15, 2026.

Graduate students may choose to submit either a poster presentation or a digital/video media project (due May 15) or submit a paper proposal for the regular conference sessions (due March 15).
