Travel Grants

The Pennsylvania Historical Association will award a competitive number of John B. Frantz Travel Grants to graduate students presenting at the 2024 Annual Meeting. To be eligible, current graduate students must be members of panels already accepted for the program, a PHA member, and be registered for the October 10-12 conference. Each applicant must send a brief statement (no more than 150 words) of how the award may help to off-set their travel costs and list any confirmed departmental/institutional support (awards are competitive).

Applications are due to Joe Heffley at joeheffley.pha@gmail.com by September 18. Winners will be notified by the evaluation committee of their monetary prize, and the award will be announced at the Friday banquet of the conference.
